ABOUT
J. Connor Bjornson is a Canadian-American cinematographer drawn to character driven stories — those that ring true and contemplate the human condition. He frequently lenses films across the United States and Canada.
Recent work includes THE LEMURIAN CANDIDATE, a psychedelic indie starring Dakota Shapiro (The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes), Ben Groh (God’s Time, Mutt) and Oliver Cooper (Project X, Mindhunter). Additionally THE DISINVITED (2024), an indie thriller starring Sam Daly has premiered at the 2024 FANTASPOA Film Festival in Brazil and 2024 NOT FILM FEST in Italy. Both films are now seeking distribution.
He is a graduate of the American Film Institute (AFI), ranked #1 film school in America by The Hollywood Reporter, a recognized finalist in the CSC awards and a recipient of the American Society of Cinematographers (ASC) Vision Mentorship.
